In film, media, and literature, a purely evil villain is portayed as clearly bad with often little explanation for their actions, making it easy for the audience to see them as the enemy. In contrast, a complex villain has a deeper backstory and understandable motives, and encourages the audience to sympathise with the villain.

Your father has been suffering from dementia. As your mother and twin sibling have passed on, the burden to care for him has fallen upon you, and you have taken on the role of primary carer.

Your relationship with your father has never been supportive. He has always been critical of your life decisions, often comparing you detrimentally to your sibling (who he once drunkenly claimed was his favourite child). After having lived with him for a few years your relationship has been even more strained.

Recently, something strange has begun to occur. Your father has been consistently confusing you with your twin. The doctor in charge has confirmed that your father now believes you are the twin.

You are a history teacher at Eton College, where students start in year 9 (aged 13). Eton is a highly selective prestigous private school, which selects pupils based on their perfomrance in an essay question. This year, it is your responsibility to select the questions.You have come up with the following two questions and need to pick one:
Question A: The year is 2040. There have been riots in the streets of London after Britain has run out of petrol because of an oil crisis in the Middle East. Protesters have attacked public buildings. Several policemen have died. Consequently, the Government has deployed the Army to curb the protests. After two days the protests have been stopped but twenty-five protesters have been killed by the Army. You are the Prime Minister. Write the script for a speech to be broadcast to the nation in which you explain why employing the Army against violent protesters was the only option available to you and one which was both necessary and moral.
Question B: You have been selected to be the architect of a political building. Explain the criteria you would use in designing various features of the building and explain your reasons for including each feature you mention.
